You received this letter because our records show you currently have two insurance policies in effect, and we have paid a premium on both. Because payments were made on both policies, it may cause a shortage in your escrow account which can increase your monthly payment.

Here’s what you need to do next

If you have not done so already, contact your insurance agent and cancel the insurance policy you no longer want. In order to avoid an escrow shortage later, if you received a refund check from your insurance provider, endorse it (sign the back) and send it to the address on your letter.
